Description:
An Associate dentist is a clinician who is practicing dentistry for at least 5 years. The clinician has a practice specific expertise on any of the following fields: Endodontics, Surgery, Orthodontics,Pedodontics, Prosthodontics and Restorative dentistry.
Associates are by invitation only, invited by the DSCD Incorporators, Interviewed and screened by the committee on promotions.
Status:
- On Call
- May choose to work 8 hrs based on availability of slots
- Professional fees respective to the services offered
Credentials:
- DMD Diploma
- Certificate of Registration (PRC)
- Training Certificates Issued by any of the specialty organization affiliated with the Philippine Dental Association
Note: Preceptorship training certificates are not recognized as valid credentials, however may be submitted as reference of training experience.
Job Description:
- Assists and Guides Jr. and Sr. Resident Dentists
- Take Patients Vital Sign
- Gather Patient Medical and Dental History
- Establish Diagnosis and Treatment Plan
- Take Periapical Radiograph ( Patients on-going Treatment)
- Perform General practice with limitations on specialty specific management in accordance to the DSCD Specialty Management Procedures (SMP).
